That's how I stumbled across your blog. My brother suffered a traumatic brain injury 11 years ago, and although he is not "locked in," he can not walk, talk, or even eat. He does, however, have the "luxury" of pointing to letters of the alphabet in order to communicate. Anyway, my point is, it's refreshing to know there are others like you out there who can actually learn from others' tragedies and be able to count their blessings, as a result. Sometimes I get angry when I hear people complain about how difficult their lives are; I instantly think of my brother and how he'd change places with any of them in a second. It keeps things in perspective, that's for sure.
